Business Development Director - Melbourne
We’re planning significant growth in the Australian market and Melbourne is central to realising our business strategy. As a result, we have an opportunity for a bright, skilled, and brilliant individual.
An understanding of digital and consultancy in government, B2B and corporate B2C environments is highly desirable, however we're particularly interested in those with dominant and naturally inspiring personality traits and you may well come without “agency” experience.
This is a high profile role with the opportunity to grow a business in an exciting market. We’re looking for someone capable of collaborating closely with the senior management to put Reading Room firmly on the map in Victoria, driving immediate fast growth.
You’ll be demonstrably brilliant at conceiving and executing lead generative activity, winning new business, growing a happy team, leadership and strategic input on projects and will become the key senior person on a growing diverse range of client accounts.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing our presence in the local market in line with our proposition
- Putting Reading Room on the map in Melbourne, driving significant new contacts
- Managing key strategic accounts and projects and achieving high NetPromoter scores
- Successful delivery of innovative digital work for our portfolio
- Aggressive growth through new and repeat business wins
- Building a happy, motivated and skilled team
